Your assistance for Polish troops in Iraq

2,500 Polish troops, among them 50 women, are serving in the peacekeeping operation in Iraq.

With the Christmas season approaching, the Chicago based PAC Charitable Foundation has initiated an action of sending them packages containing simple toiletries that might be difficult to obtain there: soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.

A local Northern California Polonia organization happily joins in this effort. All donations are tax deductible.
Please assist in this action of assistance to our fellow Poles by making a contribution to finance the purchase and shipment of these items. Please make checks payable to APCC and mail to:

Polam Federal Credit Union
c/o American Polish Citizens Club 4312B
770 Marshall Street
Redwood City, CA 94063-1819

You can also make donation by calling POLAM at 1.650.367.8940 and request the donation to be transferred from your account.

Every donation will be acknowledged with a thank you note and published in a report by American Polish Citizens Club.
Please indicate on check memo line if you wish your donation to be anonymous. All donations collected will be forwarded to Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation.

Thank you for your generosity!

The American Polish Citizens Club is a 501 c (3) tax exempt organization. The entire amount of your donation is considered a charitable contribution.

Last dance parties before Advent 2003

We are approaching the month of December, one of the most important months for Polish Catholics. All Catholics traditionally observe the four week period before Christmas as preparations for the celebrations of Nativity of Jesus Christ. This period is usually quiet, with no dance parties being organized and many people attending Advent Retreats at the Polish parishes. Information will be posted as soon as it becomes available. The Retreats are usually in Polish.

Before the Christmas preparations start we have few dance parties. Find out more in our calendar
