Polish movie wins film festival in the San Francisco Bay Area

The winners of the Golden Reel Awards were announced during a formal ceremony on Friday, March 26, 2010 in Tiburon, with many filmmakers, local guests, and dignitaries present. Polish movie "General Nil" won in two categories:

Best Director: Ryszard Bugajski for General Nil [Poland]
Best Actor: Olgierd Lukaszewicz for General Nil [Poland]

Polish Dance Party with a Comedy Show

The San Francisco Bay Area Polish scouts are taking part this year in the celebrations of 100 year anniversary of the creation of their organization. The event is going to be taking place in Poland. Scouts want to get your help in raising funds to be used for that purpose. The April 17, 2010, Dance Party is one of the fund raising events.
