The Polish American Congress is an umbrella organization created
in 1944 to represent Polish American community in many aspects of
political and social issues in the US and as well in Poland. This
organization needs support from every Polish American. The most
you can do is to join and take part in PAC projects. PAC meetings
traditionally had been open to guests and new candidates. To learn
more please come and listen. Consider joining the most important
organization in Polish American community. The President of Poland
recently recognized PAC as such. Your representation will be as good

San Francisco Main Public Library, Koret Auditorium, 100 Larkin Street
The 1980 Polish Nobel Prize recipient in Literature, will be honored
(for the first time since his death) in the Bay Area, where he lived,
wrote, and taught for most of the four final decades of his life.
Poets, scholars, and translators will speak of Milosz's work and life
as well as read from his poems.
This event co-sponsored by the San Francisco State Poetry Center.
