" ! IMPORTANT MESSAGE !
American organizers of the Polish President visit are informing that all
800 seats have been claimed and are taking no more reservations.
Luckily, our Polish American Congress has a hold for a block of seats
for the PAC bus tour, we invite all those interested to claim the still
available seats.
A reminder: The bus from Elvis Charters departs on July 17, 2007, at
6 a.m. from the BART Dublin - Pleasanton station located close to the
Hwy 580, but signups and payments can be accepted no later than
Thursday, July 12, 10 a.m. at any of the POLAM offices.
PAC is not treating this trip as a fundraiser, so an increase in number of
participants will result a partial refund of the payment. A full bus will reduce
the final cost for a single person to a sum below $40 - what is less than half
of the fuel cost itself, not counting comfort and less stress while driving."
Volunteer for PBS TV pledge drive in the North San Francisco Bay
PoloniaSF.org volunteered to help in an upcoming pledge drive at a local
PBS TV station KRCB. They will be broadcasting two programs about
Poland and Polish Americans. We developed a formula of the pledge
drive which will include presentation of Poland's most up to date images
and information, interviews with local Polish Americans and participation
of Polish community in the studio pledge crew. The event is planned for
Sunday night, August 5, 2007, from 7 p.m. till 10 p.m. There will be food
provided for the volunteers, most likely from a Bay Area Polish restaurant.
If you are interested, please write email to poloniasfo@yahoo.com . KRCB
studio is located in Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, North of San Francisco.

the Internet.

and culture. The program also publicizes events in the Bay Area area
and introduces creative, outstanding individuals who are active in the
Polish community. The majority (70%) of our listeners are English
